Five tips for visiting the village with children

Families with children will find plenty of enjoyable things to do in the village.

  1. In summer, the village’s shallow beach is a favourite among children. In winter, children enjoy the ski slopes. There is also a magic carpet lift for the youngest visitors.
  2. Teijo National Park has a children’s trail, the Ant Trail, where they can spend time outdoors and learn about nature.
  3. The playground in the centre of the village is especially suited for younger children.
  4. Adventure Minigolf in Mathildedal Central Park offers plenty of challenge even for older children.
  5. Follow event listings on the Visit Mathildedal website. Many village events include activities for children, such as hobby horse competitions, activity trails and games.
